Orfila 5* is a luxury hotel, located in a quite exclusive residential area in the cultural and business centre of Madrid, this creates a framework for a different concept of the hotel business in the capital of Spain. The building was built in 1885 as the private residence of an aristocratic family. Early in the 20th century its garden was famed in Madrid for the plays that were staged there. It was restored in the 1990s to make it a luxury hotel. Now the hotel has 32 rooms, 12 of them suites, where you can enjoy the comfort of one of the best hotels in Madrid. It is the only hotel in town where each room has a different layout and decoration. The furniture, all from the 19th century, has been brought from a number of European countries. Thus Venetian chairs are combined with bathrobes that are often embroidered with the initials of regular customers. All the details are carefully looked after: luxury, refinement and comfort make our clients feel as if they were living in the 19th century.
